一、大赛介绍：
Cambridge International English Contest 2018，作为国家高考英语改革的先锋，旨在提高中国学生的英语实际应用能力和英语口语水平；鼓励和引导学生正确地学习英语，拓宽英语的学习方式；启发学生口语与书面语法相结合，
熟练运用英语进行交流和演讲；激励学生去钻研和研究，了解中西方文化的差异，语言结构的不同，进而培养学生科学的思维方式和学习兴趣及实践能力。让展示学生避免昂贵的历奇训练费用，在展示选拔过程中得到历奇训练，CTVE 提倡素质教育，培养创新性人才，采用纯口语展示，全程不需要用纸和笔，把英语能力教学真正做到生活化、情景化、趣味化、活动化。通过展示让学生有机会进驻美国哈佛大学，感受哈佛文化，成为真正入驻哈佛的唯一通道。

展示等级及报名对象：
预备级:幼儿园/ 一级:小学一二年级/ 二级:小学三四年级/ 三级:小学五六年级/ 四级:初一至初三/ 五级:高一至高三
评委组成
外教：由多年从事青少年口语教育的外籍教育专家构成。
领衔专家：Dr. Pete Fiaschi Dr. William L. Bainbridge Dr. Connie McDonald
中教：由多年从事青少年英语口语教育的中方老师担任。
领衔专家：全国优秀辅导员陈宝霖教授、全国历奇训练专家洪守义教授
家长代表：由符合我们规定的学历要求并具有一定英语能力的家长通过网上抽签系统产生
二、考试形式
个人演讲：时间为3-5分钟，满分100分，从演讲内容、语言表达、语音语调、临场表现、衣着举止、现场把控等考核选手英语演讲及口语表达能力。
个人演讲环节结束后，根据考生提交视频进行打分，根据成绩由高到低的原则，决定获奖级别。
三、时间安排
演讲视频提交时间：2018年12月1日起始，结束时间组委会另行通知。
注：具体参赛时间以组委会通知为准。
四、奖项设置： 一等奖、二等奖、三等奖

Traditional energy resources, such as coal and crude oil, are in high demand in industry, but these nonrenewable resources will eventually dry up one day. Newer energy sources such as solar, tidal, wind and nuclear energy have seen growing usage. What do you know about these new energy sources? What challenges do we face in using them? Are there any new energy sources that we might be developing?
